GROW PRO 50, a highly efficient phyto grow boxlight

LED luminaire GROW PRO 50 has a power of 50W and is available in several versions: 

1. GROW PRO 50 FULL (50W 380-840nm) is a complete phyto spectrum for plants. 

We recommend this luminaire from seed planting to harvesting.

2. GROW PRO 50 SV (50W 445nm)-monochrome blue phyto spectrum 445nm.

Helps to enhance vegetative growth. Recommended as additional lighting to the full phyto spectrum. GROW PRO 50 SV should also be used in old lighting systems together with DAT (HPS) lamps. This will significantly reduce the power of DNAT (HPS).

3. GROW PRO 50 HPS (50W 3000-3500K) is a warm white light.

This luminaire has very similar characteristics to the HPS lamps. But it uses a new generation LED with high CRI, which determines the high efficiency of this type of lighting. Our research shows that in the absence of daylight, plants need warm white light as an additional light, especially when using monochrome lighting. This is due to the fact that photons with a wavelength of about 580-610 nm (yellow-red, which dominates in warm white light) have maximum photosynthetic activity per photon. Therefore, the addition of warm white light increases the photon flux assimilated by the plant, i.e. the YPF value.

 We recommend adding 30% of warm white light power if the main light is bicolour and/or FULL.

4. GROW PRO 50 FL (50W 660nm) - monochrome red phyto spectrum 660nm.

This luminaire should be used as additional lighting during the flowering period. This will increase the weight of the inflorescences. In addition, the GROW PRO 50 FL can be used as additional lighting during the entire plant growth cycle, as the maximum photosynthesis per unit of energy is at a longer wavelength, about 650-660nm (dark red). Consequently, the use of the GROW PRO 50 FL contributes to more intense photosynthesis throughout the entire plant growth cycle, which improves the quality of the crop. 

  In most cases, GROW PRO 50 is used for lighting small grouboks from 0.15m². But when using several types of these luminaires, large grouboks can be illuminated.

 For a simple calculation of how to light large boxes, we give a recommendation table.

  The main advantage of using the GROW PRO 50 luminaires is the high reliability of such illumination, as at failure of one of the luminaires plants will be illuminated by other luminaires, that is especially important at cultivation of photoperiodic plants. In addition, using different combinations of GROW PRO 50 options, it is possible to adjust, for example, the intensity of vegetative growth or flowering by adding a blue or red light. 

The main disadvantage of using the GROW PRO 50 is the difficulty of installing several luminaires on the same level and the higher cost of illuminating large grow boxes.
